In the Freeport School District, we review and update each curriculum area every 6 years. We take into consideration curriculum, instruction, assessment, technology, and professional learning.
Goal: To develop clear, consistent, coherent, and articulated curriculums that are implemented uniformly and equitably across all schools. The ultimate goal of the curriculum review process is to develop instructional systems and curricula that are innovative, inclusive, and student-centered, ultimately ensuring that all students are equipped and empowered to choose their college, career path, and become productive members of their community.
