The Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance supports the Superintendent and the Board of Education in administering district-wide business services and support to educators, students, and families. 
 
Biographical Information
 
Before working for Freeport School District 145, Jeremy completed ten years of progressive work experience as an Assistant Regional Superintendent of Business Services, one year as a Business Manager for an elementary district, three years as a Division Supervisor of Federal and State Monitoring for the Illinois State Board of Education, and three years as a bookkeeper and Accounting Manager for two low-income school districts. Jeremy also worked for five years in corporate accounting as a Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst. Jeremy consults in government finance. Jeremy holds a B.S. degree from Roosevelt University, an M.B.A. degree from Keller Graduate School of Management, an M.S.Ed/CSBO, a degree from Northern Illinois University, a Finance Graduate Certificate from University of Illinois, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University. Jeremy is working on his Doctorate in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds the Illinois Professional Educator License with Chief School Business Official and is nationally certified as a Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO).
 
Jeremy is an active member of the Oswego community. He has dedicated his time and skills toward various volunteer opportunities and service projects, including the DuPage Education Foundation, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Illinois Global Scholars, and Park District Sports. His community involvement and work ethic reflect his belief in giving back professionally and personally. 
 
Jeremy enjoys traveling, listening to music, watching movies and sports, and spending quality time with his family.
