All Freeport School District students have the opportunity to eat breakfastand lunch at school at no cost. The district is a participant in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture that is available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
This program enables our schools to provide one reimbursable breakfast and one reimbursable lunch each day for ALL students enrolled in FSD145 at no charge. Students who would like to purchase an additional à la carte item may continue to do so using funds on their student lunch account or payment at the time of purchase.
Parents do NOT need to complete an application prior to the school year for their students to receive free meals.
