Lincoln-Douglas Elementary School serves grade levels PreK through 4th. With an average enrollment of 235 students, the school has an average class size of 20 students.
Lincoln-Douglas Elementary School has earned the Illinois Spotlight School distinction seven times. The Lincoln-Douglas staff consists of 50 dedicated individuals whose aim is to provide a supportive and stimulating learning environment for our diverse group of learners.
Students are assigned a classroom teacher, and additionally spend time with art, music, and physical education teachers during the week. Students also have the opportunity to work with reading and math specialists, the librarian, the Family Resource Coordinator, extra interventionists such as tutors, and best practice coaches.
